Message: Clear, effective and quick follow up when needed. Good management company. Highly recommend.. Recently updated my review based on recent performance. Renovations took longer than expected and ended up costing more than expected. Listing the newly renovated unit also seems to be taking too long. My renovated unit is one of the least expensive yet it’s been on the market longer than most similar listings. They were great when collecting rent on the unit when it was leased and ensuring proper maintenance for the unit…which is also important.

Message: This company responds promptly and has good customer service. I would have made it 5 stars but their rental agreement reclassifies too many items as rent (in violation of law) and also non-specifically attempts to cost-shift repairs onto tenant. Usually landlords reclassify items as rent to exploit the "summary eviction for nonpayment of rent" mechanism, but they at least didn't do this and set a contested charge aside. This is remarkable.

Message: We are very satisfied with New West for its professional management with proficiency and high standards. As its client for about 20 years, we are very pleased to be able to keep effective communication with its staff, especially New West's owner Melissa who is very quick in responding to our inquiries and requests via email or phone call, and always personally spends time to provide useful information and answers to our questions. New West's Maintenance Manager Dolores is also a wonderful lady to work with, and has been helping us get problems resolved in a timely manner to make the tenants happy. We feel very fortunate to have found New West through extensive search, and will have no reservations whatsoever to recommend it to our friends.
